1. It doesn’t matter how cool you think your ideas are; if the client doesn’t understand what you’re talking about, you’ll fail. Hint: Communication is the key to a successful project.

2. Always check your email. Daily. Hourly if you can. Unless you want to spend an hour the next day going through and answering all your emails.

3. Free Conference Call is the best thing ever to set up team/client calls. Easy to use, free, and never fails. This is something I’ll definitely use in the future.

4. Doodle is the worst thing ever. Impossible to set-up, tedious, and no one ever replies to half of the polls you set up. I won’t be using this in the near future.

5. The best work environment is one that gives everyone an equal voice in matters, just like we have at MCforNC.

Finally, I want to say that I’ve really enjoyed my time here and am thankful for the chance to have met and worked with a bunch of smart, talented people.
